About me
Half a century of engineering, carried forward by hand.
Four chapters — a founder's vision, a boy on the factory floor, a test of values, and the merit-based company we run today.
Led by engineers who started at 15.
Amit grew up inside the workshop — wiring and testing control panels while still in school. By the time he finished his engineering degree he had already commissioned projects on live sites. That grounding is why he still reads every calculation sheet before it goes out.

RM Controls was founded by my grandfather, a technical expert from BHEL, who saw that India's manufacturing boom needed partners who genuinely understood products and processes — not just suppliers.

1980
RM Controls is founded by Amit's grandfather, a technical expert from BHEL, to give India's growing manufacturing industry a partner who understood the product.
Age 15
Amit starts hands-on control panel manufacturing and turnkey project work on the factory floor.
B.Tech
Completes Electronics & Communication Engineering while continuing on-site testing and commissioning.
1995–2010
Holds an integrity-driven line through the commercialisation years while competitors chase quick growth; value engineering carries the company through the 2008–09 recession.
Director
Leads RM Controls — PCC, MCC, APFC, PLC and process panels, bus ducts and sheet steel enclosures, with guarantees of 2 to 25 years.
